Join us for our next Pop-Up Town Hall at Lorraine's Coffeehouse and Music (101 Timber Pointe Lane) on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 6-7 p.m. We'll be showcasing our essential service partner, Garner Fire-Rescue.
When you think of a fire department, you think of burning buildings and shiny red fire engines. But the reality, of course, is that buildings do not burn hourly or even daily. Come find out what Garner Fire-Rescue does when they're not fighting fires in an illuminating, informal presentation they're calling "Everything But Fire."
There will be time for Q&A after the brief presentation and then an opportunity for chatting informally one-on-one with Garner Fire-Rescue and Town staff.
If all this wasn't enough, Garner Fire-Rescue will be giving away emergency meeting place signs to be installed somewhere outside your home to designate where your family members would meet up in the event of a fire. The durable metal signs were created by and are provided courtesy of Grafixhouse in Downtown Garner.
